Seven will screen annual Collingwood and Essendon live from the MCG.

Seven will screen the annual ANZAC Day AFL showdown between Collingwood and Essendon live from the MCG next Tuesday.

Seven will broadcast a full pre-game ceremony live, including the traditional ANZAC Day moment of silence in front of a packed MCG crowd.

Tonight fans can watch the annual Len Hall match, between Fremantle and the Western Bulldogs, with a full pre-game ceremony to open ANZAC Round on Channel 7 and 7mate. Then, tune in post-match for the Armchair Experts with Cam Luke, Georgie Parker and Campbell Brown from 11.30pm AEST on Channel 7, 7mate and 7plus.

Rounding out this week’s AFL matches on Seven are:

Geelong Cats v Sydney Swans at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday from 7.00pm AEST on Channel 7 and 7mate
Carlton v St Kilda at Marvel Stadium on Sunday from 3.00pm AEST on Channel 7 and 7mate
ANZAC Eve – Melbourne v Richmond at the MCG from 7.00pm AEST on Channel 7 and 7mate

  1. I love the footy so much, but can’t stand how the codes compare themselves to diggers and people who put their lives on the line to save others and this country. It’s just so strange to me in the set up of it

    1. I think David has described it aptly with “Armchair Critics” being an ex service person myself it’s a game to honour the fallen not a game of comparison.
