New Aussie / UK co-production North Shore, penned by writer Mike Bullen (Cold Feet) will premiere on 10 in May.

When the 19-year-old daughter of a UK politician is found dead in Sydney Harbour, cultures clash as a British and an Australian detective team up to solve a complex murder mystery. But this international investigation will expose more than murder, as the two detectives begin to uncover a conspiracy with political consequences.

The six-part crime drama  stars John Bradley (Game of Thrones, Moonfall), Joanne Froggatt (Downton Abbey, Liar, The Commons), Kirsty Sturgess (Thirteen Lives, Young Rock), Dan Spielman (New Gold Mountain, The Code), Rob Carlton (Paper Giants, Chandon Pictures), Matt Passmore (Frayed, The Glades), Rhys Muldoon (House Husbands, New Gold Mountain), Claire Lovering (Class of ’07, The Letdown) and Chris Alosio (Surviving Summer, Next Goal Wins).

The series is directed by Gregor Jordan (Two Hands) with writing from Marcia Gardner (Wentworth, The Doctor Blake Mysteries),  produced by Diane Haddon (The Secrets She Keeps S2, The Commons, The Code) and executive produced by Beach Road Pictures’ David Maher and David Taylor, Mike Bullen and Rick Maier.

  1. Not the best time slot for this kind of thing. Should have been on a prominent night earlier in the week at 7.30pm. Whatever reality offering that precedes it will over-run and it will finish too late for work/school night viewing.

  2. David just a query….Law and Order SVU is usually on Wednesday at that time slot. Next week’s (3/5) episode is S24 E17 The Lime Chaser. Does this mean Ten are changing nights again or giving the show a “rest” because there are only 5 more episodes left to complete S24.

  3. Joanne Froggatt again? Really? Surely we could’ve found someone from the myriad of talented actresses we have here in Aus to star in this… it annoys me to no end.
    For example someone give Kate Box a show like this to star in. I want more Kate Box!
