Bluey tops the week in entertainment

ABC pooch outranks reality juggernauts. Seven bounces back in second week of Easter.

A brand new episode of Bluey has topped the week in entertainment at 673,000 across ABC Kids, outranking any of television’s reality drawcards.

In a further boost, another 188,000 and 118,000 watched Bluey repeats.

Seven won the second week of Easter non-ratings led by Seven News at 937,000 metro viewers.

Farmer Wants a Wife led the reality battle at Launch: 630,000 then Lego Masters (Launch: 501,000) and I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here (Tues: 471,000).

Seven led from Monday – Saturday, with Nine claiming Sunday. ABC bettered 10 on Tuesday, Friday & Saturday.

Seven again won Melbourne, Adelaide & Perth, with Nine holding strong in Sydney & Brisbane.

  1. Unless my mind is playing tricks on (a distinct possibility), it wasn’t that long ago the networks took a nap during non ratings weeks. No longer it seems. My earliest recollections of this changing is TEN with the jungle show shown from early Jan, and nine and seven shortening the summer breaks for their respective brekky show hosts. I guess all fighting harder for a shrinking (or at least a more complicated) pie.

  2. Well done, Bluey! Another big accomplishment for Australia’s favourite children’s program!

    Nine hasn’t added 7Bravo to the infograph yet. Are they trying to pretend it doesn’t exist, or have they just not gotten around to adding it?
