Warner Bros TV exec appointments

Rani Seckold promoted to Executive Business Director and Simon Vaughton to Head of Production, Unscripted.

Warner Bros. International Television Production Australia has promoted Rani Seckold (pictured left) to Executive Business Director and Simon Vaughton to Head of Production, Unscripted.

In the newly created position, Seckold is responsible for all business operational matters including production wand reports to Michael Brooks, Managing Director of WBITVP Australia and Head of Studios ANZ.

Simon Vaughton (pictured right) leads all Unscripted production content, working alongside Caroline Swift, Head of Entertainment, and Johnny Lowry, Head of Originals.

Michael Brooks continues oversee the production business, but since the merger with Discovery this has expanded to include Studios businesses being Content Licensing, Home Entertainment and Theatrical Distribution.

Michael Brooks said, “Both Rani and Simon have played a critical role in the success of WBITVP to date and I am excited to see them take on greater responsibility as our business continues to expand in Australia.”

Rani Seckold said, “WBITVP has an excellent reputation for high-quality programming, and I am thrilled to be taking on this role. I look forward to driving the company’s growth and further strengthening our reputation as a leading production company and preferred business partner.”

Simon Vaughton added, “I’m excited to expand my role and drive the production business forward during a time of change and opportunity in the industry.
