Farmer Wants a Wife drives win for Seven

The Cheap Seats returns to 10, ABC busy with Budget night on Tuesday.

Seven had an easy win on Tuesday thanks to Seven News and Farmer Wants a Wife, while ABC was focussed on Budget night.

Farmer Wants a Wife drew 552,000 metro viewers followed by MasterChef Australia (497,000), Budget 2023: Treasurer’s Speech (451,000), Budget 2023: An ABC News Special (341,000), a double Frozen Planet II (278,000) and Who Do You Think You Are? (193,000).

Later The Cheap Seats returned at 365,000 then Insiders: Budget Special (253,000) and The Good Doctor (237,000).

Seven network won Tuesday with 29.4% then Nine 24.2%, 10 18.7%, ABC 18.2% and SBS 9.5%.

Seven News was #1 at 942,000 / 937,000. The Chase topped entertainment at 568,000 / 345,000 then Home & Away 499,000. The Latest was 139,000.

Nine News (797,000 / 761,000) was best for Nine. A Current Affair led with 615,000 then Hot Seat (394,000 / 238,000). Nine News late was 191,000.

The Project drew 307,000 / 184,000 for 10. 10 News First was 240,000 / 171,000. NCIS managed 137,000.

ABC News pulled 585,000. The Business (172,000) and The Drum (153,000) followed.

On SBS it was SBS World News (156,000 / 100,000), Insight (141,000), Dateline (89,000) and Mastermind (68,000).

Budget 2023: Treasurer’s Speech on ABC News also topped multichannels at 157,000.
