  1. Yeah they’ve got to keep their reporters happy. The UK journos would have for more understanding of these events than anyone else so it makes sense to send over many ‘reporters’ from Australia lookin for a paid junket because it would be so inhumane to do otherwise and deny them that.

    1. I’m gobsmacked that Seven’s Michael Usher ask Hugh Whitfield and Angela Rippon whether Charles was sad when his mother died….what a question….then Angela informed us how Charles went and picked mushrooms to clear his head after the sad news his mother had passed away. I rewound it twice just so I heard it right. After checking there was nothing wrong with my hearing I felt like some mushrooms myself but the magic kind to celebrate. So yes I do agree your comment on UK journos. 🤫

  2. Hard pass. I’ll be going out and do something else. They’re just… people who just happen to be in a royal family. Boring.

  3. It doesn’t appear as though any Australian network is going to be carrying ITV’s coverage of the coronation. While the BBC will undoubtely do an excellent job with their coverage, it looks as though Australians will only get to see the coronation coverage from the BBC’s perspective.

    1. When you think about it….it will all be the same ceremony etc etc but just with different presenters vying for who knows best about the royals and KCs and QCs “extraordinary love affair” as one OTT presenter says in the promo for the “show” and with some history thrown in. That’s enough perspective for me.

      1. It is indeed. ITV knows how to provide high quality coverage that is professional, respectful, and thorough, while being noticeably more relaxed than the BBC. This applies to events like the coronation, as well as their overall news product.

    1. Why is this ‘nonsense’? This is tradition and history at irs finest. You dont have to watch it. I am sure you could find ‘Escape To the country’ on the 7+ app

    1. If you are interested SBS Fat Quiz, Adele and Bon Jovi…..Viceland have Rockwiz Aussie legends, Monty Pythons and Music of the 80s……or turn the TV off and go to the pub….but you might risk seeing KC and QC there too.😂

  4. Great work with the schedules…..I’ve just one clarification BBC News on the Foxtel app and EPG say the events are from 4.30pm till 10.00 pm as the preparation/coronation then 10.00pm to 12am as the celebration.
