In a ground-breaking special investigation, Living Black’s Karla Grant travels to country New South Wales to expose for the first time, serious allegations of widespread physical and sexual abuse of Aboriginal children in Bourke during the 1960s and early 1970s. Living Black also follows one man’s journey as he returns to Bourke to confront the past, to seek healing and ease the burden on his spirit and soul.
