Karla Grant's NITV series returns with Matildas goalkeeper Lydia Williams.

Australia’s longest running Indigenous current affairs TV program Living Black returns tonight with host Karla Grant as she explores issues affecting First Nations peoples.

This season features investigations including black cladding of businesses across the country and the impact of the Aboriginal Housing Company’s redevelopment of The Block in Redfern.

Episode One: Lydia Williams – Paris Dreaming
Lydia Williams has been our longest serving goalkeeper for the Matildas and has been synonymous with women’s football for nearly two decades. She’s played in World Cups, authored children’s books, and has competed in two Olympic Games. Now she’s set to travel to Paris for the 2024 Olympic Games, hoping to win gold. Karla Grant travelled to Melbourne to speak with Lydia about her life and career, and to hear why she truly loves the world game.
