Seth McFarlane exits Family Guy & American Dad during Writers’ Strike

Seth MacFarlane is the latest to support the US Writers’ Strike.

Deadline reports McFarlane and the showrunners for American Dad and Family Guy have made it clear to 20th Television that none of them will be working as long as the WGA remains on strike.

While MacFarlane has been seen on the picket lines, the departures will have little immediate effect on either series.

Family Guy ended its 21st season on May 7th while American Dad has about 3 months of scripts and voice overs already completed.

Family Guy is renewed for 22nd and 23rd seasons while American Dad is renewed for a 20th and 21st seasons.

Both have screened in Australia on 7mate.
