Four cast members from the classic sitcom Taxi have reunited 40 years after the show ended.
Tony Danza, Carol Kane, Christopher Lloyd and Judd Hirsch gathered for a meal in New York.
“Love this crew of old friends so much!” Danza wrote on Instagram.
The show first aired in 1978 and ran for a total of five seasons . The cast also included Jeff Conaway, Danny DeVito, Marilu Henner, Randall Carver and the great Andy Kaufman.
The gathering comes ahead of legendary director James Burrows to be presented with the annual “Achievement in Television eXcellence” Award at the ATX TV Festival in Austin, Texas next month.
Burrows has directed more than 1,000 episodes of TV, including Taxi, Friends, Cheers, Lou Grant, Will & Grace, Frasier and The Mary Tyler Moore Show.

What a cast! They certainly were not type cast after this show. Love Carol Kane, a complete one off. Judd Hirsch a brilliant and vivid presence. Christopher Lloyd – also quite unique. And it seems like Tony Danza is just as handsome then as he is now. And James Burrows, what a legend.
