Every Diamonds game plus the semi-finals and final available live and free via Kayo Freebies.

Foxtel has secured all the live action from this year’s Netball World Cup, with the Foxtel Group securing the broadcast rights through international broadcast agency Sportfive.

In addition to showing every game live, every Diamonds game plus the semi-finals and final will be available live and free via Kayo Freebies.

Rebecca McCloy, Foxtel Group Commercial Director – Sport said: “As the proud home of netball in Australia, we are thrilled to confirm that every game of the 2023 Netball World Cup will be available live to Foxtel and Kayo Sports customers powered by Fox Netball’s world-class coverage and commentary team. And in great news, all fans across the country will be able to cheer on the Diamonds as they vie to reclaim the title, and a record-breaking 12th World Cup victory, live and free with every Diamonds game plus the finals available to stream via Kayo Freebies.”

Kelly Ryan, Netball Australia CEO, said: “We are incredibly excited netball fans will be able to watch the Origin Australian Diamonds at the 2023 Netball World Cup – with all their games live and free on Kayo Freebies.

“We hope our fans will rally around the Origin Australian Diamonds, as they take on the world’s best teams and set out for redemption in Cape Town.”

Clare Briegal, World Netball CEO, said: “We are thrilled that the Foxtel Group will be showing all games live to the Australian Netball Family from the Vitality Netball World Cup 2023.

“It will be great to see our very own Coaching Advisory Panel Member, Sue Gaudion, as part of the commentary team. We are confident she will provide expert analysis, as the coverage of our sport continues to reach new heights around the world.

“Netball is so much more than just a game, and it is fantastic that Foxtel is also taking this opportunity to cover the sport and its players outside of the match-coverage.

“Thank you to the Foxtel Group for their continued commitment to bring our sport to more people, more often.”

A dedicated World Cup carousel will feature on the Kayo Sports homepage, which will include archive Diamonds games from previous Netball World Cups along with live and on-demand games and analysis. Kayo Minis will also be available shortly after the final whistle for every Diamonds game and all semi-finals and the final.

Former Diamond and two-time Liz Ellis Medal winner Madison Browne will lead the Fox Netball coverage from South Africa alongside experienced commentator Sue Gaudion. Hannah Hollis and former Diamonds stars Cath Cox, Kim Green and Caitlin Bassett will provide additional coverage and analysis from the Fox Netball Studio in Artarmon.

Fans can warm-up for the main event with a special one-hour preview show on Monday, 24 July before the World Cup gets underway on Friday, 28 July. The final is scheduled for Sunday, 6 August. In addition to the game-day coverage, three half-hour specials on Jamaican defensive weapon Latanya Wilson, veteran South African vice-captain Karla Pretorius and rising Australian Diamonds star Sunday Aryang, will be featured throughout the tournament.

The Diamonds will be looking to go one better at this year’s tournament, after taking home silver at the 2019 edition in Liverpool. The Diamonds team for the World Cup will be announced later this month.
