The Voice: promo

'The World Stops' for Seven's next talent season with Jason Derulo, Rita Ora, Guy Sebastian and Jessica Mauboy.

Seven last night launched a fancy new promo for its upcoming season of The Voice.

Jason Derulo joins returning coaches Rita Ora, Guy Sebastian and Jessica Mauboy.

Hosted by Sonia Kruger the series is produced by ITV Studios Australia.

The promo around the theme, ‘The World Stops’ sees Seven Creative partner with agency Emotive.

Seven Creative Director, Graham Donald, said: “We made the scale of this bigger than any The Voice campaign we’ve done before to show how an amazing voice can unite Australia and stop us in our tracks.

“We had great fun shifting from a more traditional promo to developing a true creative platform.”

Seven West Media Chief Marketing and Audience Officer, Melissa Hopkins, said: “This epic campaign from Seven Creative is a special collaboration with renowned agency Emotive – whose digital, print and out-of-home will launch in the coming weeks.

“We are on a journey as a brand to ensure that we start to develop advertising that can stand up to the best advertising that others place on our platform,” she said.

All four coaches are set to take their place on the iconic red chairs with hands hovering to spin – or hit the infamous Block button to stop another coach from securing an artist – when they hear a voice they must have on their team.

With Rita not ready to relinquish last year’s crown and Guy confident he will find a winning artist, Jessica and Jason are ready to stack their teams with champion voices. The professional rivalry is already simmering as the coaches get set for this year’s extraordinary chair-turning talent.

Known for uncovering and nurturing new artists, including 2022 series champion Lachie Gill, The Voice is set to turn lifelong dreams into reality in 2023 with even more electrifying and emotional musical moments.

One of the most successful formats in the world, the new season of The Voice is hosted by Sonia Kruger and features jaw-dropping talent and the strongest-ever line-up of artists competing to be crowned the winner.

The Voice was one of Australia’s most-watched entertainment shows in 2022, with 1.39 million viewers nationally and increasing its audience year-on-year.

  1. Agree with the two comments below- awful.

Sometimes you have to wonder how these bings get approved within the marketing department as a good idea.

  2. I get the idea they were going for but yeah it does feel a bit too much. Also laughed at the tagline “The World Stops for The Voice” – Maybe they do for the spinny chair auditions but they don’t care about these people beyond that.
