I think the Grand Final is Sunday 8 October 2023 (a week after this week 1 October) as this Sunday it’s the NRL Grand Final.
Thanks for this bumper post, David. It is great to be able to compare and contrast the four together. I enjoyed Ezra’s the most (but I prefer dance/funk/pop) more than the moody ballads or mid tempo indie rock stylings they have modelled for Ethan and Charlie.
Narrative wise, I think Charlie will win. He appears to be a lovely guy, been through such a dark night of the soul, and he has a unique look and sound. I have had reservations about Tarryn since she went through the blinds. Clearly she has an exquisite voice, but for me, not distinctive, perhaps it is the years as a session singer, but as technically perfect her voice is, I couldn’t pick her tone out if i heard it on other songs. Just not memorable. Powerful but not distinct. But I think it will come down to Tarryn and Charlie.
Is none of this live anymore?
