2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup: match schedule on Seven

Seven's coverage of Women's World Cup takes place across July 20 - August 20.

Seven’s coverage of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023, staged across Australia and New Zealand, begins on July 20.

Seven screens the opening ceremony, plus 15 key matches including  first round clash between Australia and Ireland, major Quarterfinals, both Semi-Finals and the Cup final on August 20.

Mel McLaughlin and Bruce McAvaney host with commentary from Grace Gill, David Basheer, plus reporters Adam Peacock & Emma Freedman, and experts Elise Kellond-Knight and Heather Garriock.

With exclusive free-to-air broadcast rights, the Seven Network will take the nation on an exhilarating ride through the blockbuster tournament, as Australia’s mighty Matildas go in search of their maiden Cup title.

Stream replays of all Matildas matches on demand on 7plus, as well as bonus content including athlete interviews and feature stories.

Sunrise is the place Australians will be able to see all the highlights every morning while 7NEWS will feature up-to-the-minute exclusive reports, team news and pitch access, with live coverage from 5.30am each day, through to The Latest each night (check local listings).

7NEWS.com.au will also dedicate a FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ hub to breaking news, live match statistics, match scheduling and broadcast information.

At 2.00pm* each day of the tournament, join Mel McLaughlin and football stans, Kat Sasso, Dani Pirrello and Nick Stav on the Highlights show, a 30-minute program to wrap up all matches and breaking news and views (*check local listings).

    1. Actually, broadcasters are not allowed to advertise during play during FIFA tournaments such as World Cups. This is why Nine didn’t show ads during their coverage of the 2002 FIFA World Cup.

  1. Boring Seven.. Always has the bad Coverage, Lineup of Hosts, Commentators, Reporters. They got No Idea about Professional Experts!! Seven Always like to ruin/kill other Sports!
    Will definetely rather Watch All the Matches on Optus Sport, way more better Coverage, Commentators, Experts, etc.!!
