Fourth Test scores for Nine
The Ashes delivers huge Wednesday share for Nine. Utopia strong in Total TV.

The start of the Ashes: Fourth Test dominated viewing last night at up to 836,000 metro viewers and a huge network share for Nine.
Utopia drew 455,000 and continues to draw big numbers in Total TV. Next were Hunted (432,000), 7:30 (423,000), Animals Aboard with Dr. Harry (254,000) and Who the Bloody Hell Are We? (134,000).
Later Gruen was 427,000 then The Front Bar (229,000), Gold Diggers (172,000), Ambulance: Code Red (167,000), and Riptide (158,000).
Nine network won Wednesday with 38.6% then Seven 23.3%, ABC 14.9%, 10 14.7% and SBS 8.6%.
Nine News (792,000 / 774,000) was best for Nine. A Current Affair led with 652,000 then Hot Seat (362,000 / 253,000).
Seven News was #1 at 901,000 / 844,000. The Chase topped entertainment at 559,000 / 351,000. Home & Away was 440,000.
ABC News pulled 499,000. The Drum (133,000) and Queen of Oz (103,000) followed.
The Project drew 240,000 / 159,000 for 10. 10 News First was 216,000 / 140,000. So Help Me Todd was low at 59,000.
On SBS it was SBS World News (153,000 / 108,000), Tour de France (91,000), and Rainbow Warrior: Murder in the Pacific (73,000).
Peppa Pig led multichannels at 113,000.
Sunrise: 217,000
Today: 190,000
News Breakfast: 99,000 / 41,000
In Total TV numbers last Wednesday were:
Utopia: 1.03m
Riptide: 292,000
Gruen: 851,000
Gold Diggers: 300,000
The Front Bar: 406,000

Gruen continues to rate really well, the ABC must be pleased.
Agreed Danny, Robert was great! Very engaging and full of charisma, like his Dad.
@Rachel, agreed. Like father like son. Both command an audience and have an innate ability to engage audience attention. This isn’t something which can be taught or bought. Can’t believe September will be 17 years since Steve lost his life in an unimaginable fashion.
This morning was the first time I saw Robert Irwin occupying Sam Mac’s weatherman responsibilities. Robert is seriously meant to be in front of the camera. He has great adlibbing skills, has camaraderie with the entire panel and speaks with conviction. Please Mr Warburton, give this talent a full-time gig.
