Matildas deliver winning week for Seven

FIFA Women's World Cup, Ashes Series and MasterChef Australia were all big drawcards last week.

The FIFA Women’s World Cup is off and running for Seven and drawing big audiences.

At 1.22m metro viewers the Australia vs Republic of Ireland match was the #1 show of the week. It grew to 1.97m in Total TV.

Together with Seven News and Dancing with the Stars it helped Seven win the week.

Nine remained competitive thanks to the Ashes Series.

MasterChef Australia wrapped for 10 followed by the second season of Hunted.

Seven led on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Nine won Wednesday and Friday. 10 bettered Nine on Monday. ABC bettered 10 on Wednesday & Saturday.

Seven claimed victory in Melbourne, Adelaide & Perth. Nine won Sydney & Brissy.
