Sport dominates ratings week

With Origin, AFL, Tour de France and Matildas, networks are enjoying a sports-fest.

Sport continues to dominate mid year TV ratings.

State of Origin III topped the week at 1.48m viewers, although for Nine it will rose to 2.49m in Total TV including regional and BVOD.

Nine’s weekly win was also bolstered by the Ashes Series.

Seven’s schedule saw wins thanks to AFL, while Tour de France lifted SBS. Even 10’s Friday night coverage of a Matildas match saw 10 BOLD outrank the primary channel.

Then there was also Wimbledon, NRL, and Under 19s State of Origin.
