Utopia, Gruen win slots for ABC on Wednesday
ABC scored in entertainment with Utopia continuing to draw big numbers in Total TV. The Chase, Seven News and ACA all win.

ABC entertainment shows were winners on Wednesday, while Nine and Seven tussled over network share.
Utopia drew 521,000 metro viewers and continues to pull big numbers in Total TV.
AÂ Travel Guides repeat followed at 508,000, 7:30 (458,000), MasterChef Australia (401,000) and newcomer Animals Aboard with Dr. Harry (268,000).
Later Gruen was 484,000 then The Front Bar (298,000), new ABC comedy Gold Diggers (260,000), Wimbledon (186,000 across the network) and 10 drama Riptide (169,000).
Nine led in primary channels but Seven pipped in network share at 27.1% then Nine 27.0%, ABC 18.8%, 10 16.7% and SBS 10.4%.
Seven News was #1 at 951,000 / 898,000. The Chase topped entertainment at 580,000 / 342,000 then Home & Away (422,000). Accused drew 175,000.
Nine News (780,000 / 770,000) was best for Nine. A Current Affair won at 629,000 then Hot Seat (388,000 / 244,000). Footy Classified was 99,000 in 4 cities.
ABC News drew 543,000. Queen of Oz (156,000) , The Drum (155,000) and The Last Leg (102,000) followed.
The Project pulled 265,000 / 171,000 for 10. 10 News First was 224,000 / 123,000 then So Help Me Todd (90,000).
On SBS it was SBS World News (147,000 / 119,000), Tour de France (127,000 across the network), History of the Sitcom (103,000) and Rainbow Warrior: Murder In The Pacific (84,000).
7mate’s The Force led multichannels at 113,000.

News Breakfast: 92,000 / 57,000

I won’t be back for the crass and dreadfully unfunny ‘Gold Diggers’-one ep more than enough…
Wimbledon need to get their act together. Rain delay after rain delay and yet won’t use the roof on centre court and court 1 because “it’s an outdoor tournament”.
Both Jelena Dokic and Samantha Stosur were scratching their heads at the decision while being so many matches behind in the schedule.
