ABC to review Woodside protest incident

"In response to concerns that have been raised, the ABC is conducting a detailed examination," says ABC.

ABC has updated its statement on a Four Corners team attending at the home of Woodside CEO Meg O’Neill.

On Wednesday ABC said the team received a tip to go to an address, but had no knowledge what was at the address or what action was going to occur there.

But WA Premier Roger Cook wrote to ABC Chair Ita Buttrose saying, “… the fact that an ABC TV crew attended the private home of a WA citizen to document the committing of alleged criminal acts is cause for great concern and morally wrong.”

Updating its statement, ABC said, “In response to concerns that have been raised, the ABC is conducting a detailed examination of the circumstances surrounding this matter.”
