Great Australian Walks lifts SBS. Seven & Nine neck and neck on Thursday.

New series looks set to top the week for SBS. 7TWO helps Seven to edge ahead of Nine for the win.

Last night SBS unveiled its new local series Great Australian Walks with Julia Zemiro, a 10 part stroll bringing together history and nature.

The series drew 191,000 metro viewers which lifted the broadcaster to double figure share and is on track to finish the week as the top performer on SBS.

Meanwhile The Chase topped entertainment at 534,000 / 338,000.

7:30 was 457,000. An extended Home & Away drew 457,000 / 393,000 for 7pm then Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly Australia (348,000), Foreign Correspondent (272,000).

Thursday Night NRL scored 329,000.

Later The Front Bar drew 364,000 then Extraordinary Escapes (209,000).

Although Nine led in primary channel share, Seven network drew 28.6% pipping Nine’s 28.5% then 10 16.5%, ABC 16.3% and SBS 10.2%.

Seven News was #1 at 867,000 / 846,000. What The Killer Did Next was 220,000.

Nine News (748,000 / 727,000) was best for Nine. A Current Affair won at 604,000 then Hot Seat (399,000 / 251,000). RBT was 158,000 in 3 cities with Emergency at 156,000 across the network.

The Project drew 281,000 / 198,000. 10 News First was 225,000 / 146,000. Law & Order: SVU was 141,000 with a Cheap Seats replay at 109,000.

ABC News pulled 550,000. Grand Designs NZ (165,000) and The Drum (146,000) followed.

On SBS it was Searching for Italy with Stanley Tucci (139,000) then SBS World News (139,000 / 126,000) and Kin just 44,000.

NCIS topped multichannels at 109,000.

The Morning Show: 134,000 / 78,000
Today Extra: 110,000 / 90,000
