Report: Talking Finals new Seven AFL show

A rumoured new AFL show on Seven will reportedly be called Talking Finals, a play on its Talking Footy brand.

The Herald Sun reports James Brayshaw will anchor the series with ex-Geelong captain Joel Selwood and Richmond’s Trent Cotchin (updated: who has just confirmed his retirement).

Outgoing chief reporter Tom Browne or his likely replacement, Mitch Cleary, are also expected to lead an AFL news aspect.

Seven already has The Front Bar but the new show is rumoured for a mid-week slot before Finals season begins.

Seven is yet to announce the series.
