    1. He is cheeky, a bit like a Roast comedian but I don’t think that qualifies as mean spirited any more than Sam’s jokes about host Tom. Everyone is sorta in on the gag… Logie targets would disagree I guess!

      1. Yes, but not tongue in cheek or just nice at times. The balance to roast and kindness or cheeky self-depreciation just isn’t there. Try watching him without the assumption he’s a nice bloke and he’s hard to watch.

Sam’s different because he smiles and is friendly.

  1. MKR is good thanks to the Brisbane battlers and mother and son couple. Colin has warmed to Australians over the past couple of years, Manu is still a bit of a poser. The Block is boring and predictable, and the only good thing about The Masked Singer is Mel B and the costumes, I liked it when Danni was a host she brings a bit of stardust to any show.

  2. The Block is still a ratings juggernaut but watercooler talk has been “Is this still a renovations show?” “Are they building whole new houses now.” “So much Drama”.

Sounds to me early signs of the trouble MKR found itself in before ratings dived.

  3. I have watched every episode over 19 seasons of the Block and last night came close to switching to something else. The bullying of 1 contestant by 2 other couples & it’s continued promotion is just disgusting. This should be left on the editing room floor. I’d expect it from MKR or MAFS but not the Block.
If I don’t see an on air stop to this by Scott Cam I will be very disappointed.
