Total TV numbers continue to see hefty lifts from Overnights including for The Block, Thank God You’re Here and Mother & Son.
Meanwhile The Block led entertainment at 557,000 metro viewers last night.
MKR was 486,000 then Thank God You’re Here (451,000 and topping all demos), 7:30 (435,000) and Hard Quiz (434,000).
Later The Front Bar led at 334,000 then Mother & Son (304,000), Luxe Listings Sydney (247,000), WTFAQ (199,000) and Building the Snowy (125,000).
Seven network won Wednesday with 31.4% then Nine 28.9%, 10 and ABC tied on 16.0% then SBS 7.8%.
Seven News was #1 at 851,000 / 814,000 then The Chase 508,000 / 292,000. Home & Away drew 431,000. The Latest was 199,000.
Nine News (815,000 / 770,000) was best for Nine. A Current Affair won with 681,000 then Hot Seat (393,000 / 240,000). Footy Classified scored 71,000 across the network. Dream Listing Byron Bay was 62,000 in 2 cities.
ABC News drew 521,000. The Drum (138,000) and Starstruck (101,000) followed.
The Project pulled 315,000 / 193,000. 10 News First managed 192,000 / 154,000. The Inspired Unemployed (Impractical) Jokers was 198,000. Five Bedrooms was 111,000.
On SBS it was SBS World News (124,000 / 103,000), Michael Mosely: Secrets of the Superagers (118,000) and Wolf (30,000).
Spicks & Specks led multichannels at 92,000.
Sunrise: 221,000
Today: 197,000
News Breakfast: 84,000 / 44,000
In Total TV numbers last Wednesday were:

The Block: 1.14m
Thank God You’re Here: 1.01m
Without Sin: 319,000

Ouch, Thank God You’re Here slipping to 3rd, behind The Block and MKR. Looks like viewers are getting less interested in the revival the longer it goes on.
Really? At 1.01M in 7 day numbers, comparing very well with the block.
And yet it beat both in the demos, doing well in Total TV as the story indicates. The issue for 10 is the low lead in not Thank God itself.
I see it as the audience who watched the original run of TGYH from 2006 – 2009 are now home / investment property owners in 2023.
You gotta remember also, the other 2 are nightly, so more important to watch within the 24 hour windows. TGYH also has multiple primetime encore screenings taking away any urgency to watch first showing live.
Fair point. It has been dropping weekly in totals and demos in the same slot with the same lead in.
Still reasonable numbers but Ten would have to be worrying about the drops.
