Airdate: HMP: Behind Bars

Next week Seven premieres UK documentary HMP: Behind Bars, a  Channel 5 series which screened in Britain in June.

Episode one looks at the maximum security prison Long Lartin which holds some of Britain’s most brutal criminals. The documentary will include interviews with female staff as they reveal what it is like to work around high-profile criminals.

It will also see ex-inmates share their stories. They talk about how they were dealing and taking illegal drugs, brewing up their home-made alcoholic drink called hooch and enjoying parties on the prison’s wings.

9:15pm Tuesday on Seven.
