Reboot series led by Miranda Cosgrove & Jerry Trainor ends at three seasons.

The iCarly reboot has been cancelled by Paramount+ after three seasons.

The news was announced by on social media by cast member Laci Mosley, telling a fan “It’s canceled babes.”

“Not a joke. The best people I’ve ever worked with in the business. Thank you for tuning in to the reboot. Everyone put their deeply kind talented souls into this.”

The original series ran from 2007-2012 following a group of best friends creating a webcast while grappling with everyday problems and adventures. It returned in 2021 with Miranda Cosgrove in her twenties along with Jerry Trainor (Spencer) and Nathan Kress (Freddie) but notably absent was Jennette McCurdy who played Sam Puckett.

iCarly will not be returning for a fourth season on Paramount+,” a spokesperson for Paramount+ said in a statement. “The series had a great three-season run and delivered on what fans really wanted to see with Carly and Freddie finally getting together. We want to thank the entire cast, the writers, directors and producers along with the whole crew for their dedication, creativity and talent.”

It screens in Australia on Paramount+.
