Before The Voice, Australian Idol, Tarryn & Royston competed on All Together Now.

Who knew?
Both The Voice and Australian Idol 2023 winners were also competitors on Seven’s 2018 talent series All Together Now.
Tarryn Stokes and Royston Sagigi-Baira competed on the show hosted by Julia Zemiro in which a panel of 100 performers would stand up and join in the vocals if they liked what they heard (yes a very random concept, to be fair).
Both appeared in the Grand Final to compete for $100,000 with Tarryn Stokes placed second and Royston Sagigi-Baira placed third with Fijian-born Brisbane-based Lai Utovou taking out the top prize.
Several years (and a pandemic) later both would return to TV talent quests on Seven, taking out their own $100,000 prize -plus recording contracts, with Stokes winning The Voice this week and Sagigi-Baira winning Australian Idol in March.
Of course, The Voice has no rules around professionals competing on the show, while Idol stipulates you must not have an existing contract with any other TV show or record label.
I guess what are the odds Lai Utovou will turn up on The Voice in 2024?
