Block tops entertainment -and why Outback Truckers pushed Seven to Tuesday win.

The Block, The Chase, SAS Australia were best in Tuesday entertainment, as multichannels take Seven to victory.

Nine managed a win in primary channels last night, but Seven pipped them at the post in network share thanks to a better performance on multichannels, with 7mate shows like Outback Truckers drawing 92,000.

Comparatively the best on a Nine multichannel was 9GEM’s The Closer at 57,000.

But The Block again topped entertainment at 650,000 metro viewers, well in front of 7:30  (448,000), SAS Australia (426,000), Take 5 with Zan Rowe (363,000) and The Masked Singer at 331,000, rising to 401,000 for the reveal of Orca.

Later The Cheap Seats led at 371,000 then Old People’s Home for Teenagers (326,000), and Paramedics (218,000).

Nine led in primary share but Seven network won -just- Tuesday with 27.9% then Nine 27.5%, 10 17.8%, ABC 17.7% and SBS 9.2%.

Seven News was #1 at 813,000 / 809,000. The Chase drew 486,000 / 289,000 then Home & Away (410,000). But HMP: Behind Bars was just 121,000.

Nine News was 707,000 / 699,000 for Nine. A Current Affair led with 639,000 then Hot Seat (334,000 / 237,000). Love Triangle was only 70,000.

The Project pulled 281,000 / 174,000 for 10. 10 News First was 186,000 / 138,000. NCIS managed 154,000.

ABC News was 559,000. Australia After War (137,000) and The Drum (122,000) followed.

On SBS it was The Mission (143,000), SBS World News (132,000 / 104,000), Great British Railway Journeys (127,000), House of Maxwell (78,000) and Mastermind (38,000).

ABC Kids show Andy & the Band led multichannels at 94,000.
