Only Murders in the Building has been renewed for a fourth season.

The news was announced stateside by Hulu on the same day as the Season 3 finale.

The series follows Charles Haden-Savage (Steve Martin), Oliver Putnam (Martin Short) and Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez), three neighbours in a New York City apartment called the Arconia, who came together to record a true crime podcast about the murder of fellow resident. Season Three also featured guest star Meryl Streep.

Only Murders in the Building hails from co-creators and writers Steve Martin and John Hoffman. Martin and Hoffman executive produce along with Martin Short, Selena Gomez, This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman and Jess Rosenthal. The series is produced by 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios.

It screens in Australia on Star / Disney+.

    No spoilers, but I’m sad to lose the character who died in the S3 finale, I am sure that character’s involvement and the the mystery of their murder will be interesting.
