In 2011 judge Mel B -who had initially voted against a young Johnny Ruffo on The X Factor– was forced to take back her words.
“You bring so much joy and character to the competition. You’ve got something none of the other people have got. You’ve just got that Johnny swag.
“I said it last week. Australia is falling in love with you.”

Another tragedy :'( RIP Johnny. Nice to see Seven will repeat the Spotlight special in early prime time on Tuesday in tribute (and you can bet it’ll do significantly better than BB!) So many deaths in recent times and a lot of them major shocks, as well as too young and too kind. Makes you pause on life for a minute…
