Canadian comedy Letterkenny will end with its upcoming 12th season.
The announcement of the final season came along with the premiere date of December 25 in North America.
The series takes place in the fictional town of Letterkenny, Ontario, and follows its residents, who belong to one of three groups — the hicks, the skids, or the hockey players.
The 12th season synopsis states, “In Season 12, the small town contends with a comedy night at Modean’s, a country music hit, the Degens’ bad influence, a new nightclub, and an encore at the Ag Hall. And that’s just for starters.”
Letterkenny screens in Australia on SBS VICELAND with 11 seasons currently available at SBS on Demand. A date for Australia is yet to be confirmed.

Sad to see it come to an end but it’s had a hell of a run to go for 12 seasons.
Boy do I feel like an idiot. A pilot colleague has been using that photo as his Facebook profile pic for ages and I actually thought it was him. Never knew it was from a TV show…
