The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, the next series in The Walking Dead Universe, will premiere on Stan in late February.

Starring Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live presents an epic love story of two characters changed by a changed world. Kept apart by distance. By an unstoppable power. By the ghosts of who they were. Rick (Lincoln) and Michonne (Gurira) are thrown into another world, built on a war against the dead and ultimately, a war against the living. Can they find each other and who they were in a place and situation unlike any they’ve ever known before? Are they enemies? Lovers? Victims? Victors? Without each other, are they even alive – or will they find that they, too, are the Walking Dead?
Alongside Lincoln and Gurira, the brand new series in The Walking Dead Universe will also star Pollyanna McIntosh returning as Jadis, Terry O’Quinn in the role of Beale, and Lesley-Ann Brandt as Pearl.
The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live is executive produced by Showrunner Scott M. Gimple, Lincoln, Gurira, Denise Huth and Brian Bockrath. Stan is the home of three new series from The Walking Dead Universe including The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon and The Walking Dead: Dead City which have both been renewed for a brand new season.
Monday February 26 on Stan.
Horror themes, violence.

I stuck with TWD until the end but it wasn’t the same when Rick left. I did enjoy Dead City and Daryl, so I’m looking forward to seeing this.
Would have been good if they had Terry O’Quinn as his character John Locke from lost… They would never have to explain any of it and how he wound up there but it would create so much mystery for the viewers.
I feel that the actual entertainment value (whatever that may be) of these ‘ zombie’ shows is well past its use by date, but plainly the majority who choose to watch this genre don’t agree.
I have to admit that I gave up on The Walking Dead when Rick Grimes was ‘killed off’. I’d stopped enjoying it about two seasons earlier. Especially when there was a guy with a pet tiger. It just got beyond silly.
I’m hopeful that this stand alone series will be good, but I’m only giving it one ep. 🙂
