Tix are up for grabs for Idol's Top 21 and Performance weeks at the Sydney Coliseum Theatre.

Audience tickets are available for Australian Idol‘s Top 21 Week and Performance Shows.
Filming again takes place at the Sydney Coliseum Theatre in Rooty Hill (seen recently as an Evangelist church in Prosper!)
The dates suggest that Live Results shows may vary across Tuesdays, then Mondays in Seven’s schedule, but that’s yet to be confirmed.
Top 21 Week:
Friday 9th Feb | Saturday 10th Feb | Sunday 11th Feb
Performance weeks:
Saturday 24th Feb | Tuesday 27th Feb
Saturday 2nd March | Tuesday 5th March
Saturday 9th March | Monday 11th March
Saturday 16th March | Monday 18th March
Seven’s Head of Scheduling Brook Hall was recently asked about Live Performance shows this year.
“There’s going to be some As Live, but there’ll be more Live than last year,” he said.
“We raced through the Live part of the show last year. It was only really the back month. It will be longer this year because I think that that’s where you get the growth.
“The public will have more say than ever, this will be back to more traditional….. We get to that segment quicker, and keep the performance and the quality higher.”
Minimum audience age for tickets is 10.

Looking at the ticket availability/booking website, I note that the bulk of the sessions finish at (approx) 7 or 7.30pm. One session finishes at approx 8.50pm – and that’s a Saturday; others at 8 & 8.30pm. So that suggests to me that the bulk of the shows, as the Seven programmer suggests are “as live” or in other words pre-recorded live before transmission – but I doubt that any of these first run shows recorded on a Saturday would be telecast Saturday. Given Seven shiny floor reality shows generally run longer than 60 mins, that suggests that there are no actual live live shows – unless the transmission starts on air at 7pm. Maybe it’s possible that the Monday and Tuesdays shows are “turn-around delays” ie recorded anywhere from a minute to an hour before transmission. Curious.
My comment has nothing to do with tickets, but that it is just so great to have Marcia Hines back on our screens. She is just a national treasure and a delight to watch.
