Colin Fassnidge joins Better Homes & Gardens

MKR judge has a new weekly gig on Seven's long-running lifestyle show.

Colin Fassnidge is joining Better Homes and Gardens, following the departure of Fast Ed late last year.

Fasssnidge, who will continue to co-host MKR with Manu Feildel, will showcase food & recipes on the series which will celebrate 30 years on air.

“Working on Better Homes and Gardens really feels like coming home. I’ve been friends with Johanna ever since I started at Channel 7, and the rest of the cast and I get on like a house on fire,” he said.

“I can’t wait to get out on the road and travel around this beautiful country, cooking with some of the best and freshest produce in the world.

“I’ll be bringing my passion, humour and cheeky Irish flair as I whip up my favourite simple, quick and affordable recipes that everyone can make and enjoy at home.”

Executive Producer Russell Palmer said: “We are excited to welcome Colin to Better Homes and Gardens and mark the beginning of an exciting new chapter in 2024. He’s a talented and well-respected chef and brings his own charm and innovation, which is sure to inspire our audience.”

He begins when the show returns on Friday, 2 February on Seven.

  1. A bit of an uninspiring replacement for Fast Ed 🙁 I like Colin, but don’t love him and Seven have used him for years now on various and he’s a bit too much sometimes. I was disappointed Kitchen Nightmares Australia didn’t return with him. Also, think Griggs’ 20th year on BH&G, congrats to her and the shows 30th!
