Gallery: 2024 on Nine media event

Nine network stars posed for the cameras at a media event in Melbourne ahead of the 2024 TV year.

Nine talent yesterday attended a media event in Melbourne to showcase 2024 titles including Tipping Point, Nine News, 60 Minutes, Today, Under Investigation, A Current Affair and Do You Want to Live Forever?

In attendance at the QT rooftop were Todd Woodbridge, Liz Hayes, Karl Stefanovic, Sarah Abo, Dimity Clancey, Adam Hegarty, Ally Langdon, Alicia Loxley, Tom Steinfort, Tara Brown, Eddie McGuire, Clint Stanaway, Livinia Nixon, Brooke Boney, Alex Cullen, Tim Davies and more.

Joining them were Nine’s Michael Healy, Adrian Swift,  Darren Wick, Hugh Nailon, and the PR team including Vic Buchan, Terry Stuart, Amanda Poulos, Adrian Motte, Sean Salter, Christabel Huynh.

Event host Ally Langdon asked Todd Woodbridge about his transition from sport and lifestyle to hosting a game show.

“I had a contestant come along prior to coming on the show, and she said, ‘I’m looking forward to seeing how you perform,'” Woodbridge recounted.

“I thought ‘Here we go!’ So I said, ‘Would you like me to be funny? How would you like me to be?’

“She said, ‘Well you are very serious when you commentate.’ But they’re different roles. I had a nickname in the locker room which has ‘HaveAChat.’ My wife would be waiting for us to leave and I’m forever talking to people.

“So that’s the rapport I try to bring to the contestants we have. We have a nice feeling when we start and that wasn’t that difficult for me. When you think about tennis, all my career I was interviewed, now I interview people.”
