Returning: Ambulance Australia

10 cameras again go behind the scenes of Australia’s busiest Ambulance service.

Season 5 of Ambulance Australia will premiere on 10 in early February.

Narrated by 10 News First‘s Chris Bath, the series looks beyond the lights and sirens to the heart and soul of the men and women of NSW Ambulance, Australia’s busiest Ambulance service, responding to a call every 26 seconds.

Every day, emergency medical call takers, dispatchers, specialist clinicians and paramedics make split second decisions that can mean the difference between life and death. Over the past year, in NSW alone, 1.2 million calls were made to NSW Ambulance Triple Zero. Delving into the day-to-day operations of the 20 paramedics and three duty operations managers, this season is full of stories from the front line, where nothing is taken for granted.

In cooperation with NSW Ambulance, Ambulance Australia is produced by Endemol Shine Australia, a Banijay Company, for Network 10.

Wednesday, 7 February at 7.30pm on 10.

  1. Excited to see a return to the series after having a year without it…interesting to see that Chris has replaced Lisa Wilkinson as narrator and that the series has returned to being produced in NSW after two seasons in Qld, hoping we will see some familiar faces again from the first two series.
