Season 3 of Canadian conspiracy drama Departure returns for a third season, focusing on the mysterious sinking of a sea ferry bound for Newfoundland.
The 2023 drama features Archie Panjabi, Kris Holden-Ried, Mark Rendall
The investigation team, led by Kendra Malley (Emmy award-winner Archie Panjabi) and Dominic Hayes (Kris Holden-Ried) begin to unravel the many tangled threads of the investigation, all in search of one answer: why did the Queen of the Narrows suddenly sink to the bottom of the sea? The team must race to uncover the truth behind the disaster.
Episode One:
Kendra Malley and her team from the Federal Transportation Safety Authority travel to Newfoundland to investigate the cause of a major ferry sinking.

It is. A lot of dramas will debut at SBS on Demand before their television broadcast.
OK, this is more of a surprise than this getting a second season (which I did not bother with). Watched and enjoyed S1, even if it became a little preposterous.
