A celebration of the elite sport of wave ski surfing and the female athletes who compete at the top level. This half-hour documentary celebrates the inspiring and diverse women who compete at the top level of the dynamic sport of wave ski surfing. Making Waves features women from across the world as they strive to achieve their dream of winning the World Title, including Jackie Dillon from WA and Queensland’s Melissa Farthing.

At the age of 65, Jackie is ranked number four in the world, with 53-year-old Melissa holding the number 2 ranking. Their main competitors include a 19-year-old from France, an expectant mother from the USA, and a 35-year-old from England who surfs in freezing conditions, whilst her 4-year-old cheers her on from the beach.
