This is a two part doco which concludes a week later.

On the outside, they looked like a perfect family. Richard and Sheree Spencer were both successful professionals with three lovely daughters.

But behind the closed doors of their six-bedroom home, Richard Spencer was living a nightmare. Unknown to anyone but him, Sheree Spencer was a violent abuser, who left him living in fear for twenty years.

But what Sheree hadn’t anticipated, was that Richard had been recording the abuse.

With exclusive access to Richard’s own footage, unseen police archive and first-hand testimonials, Richard Spencer tells his harrowing story for the first time, in a way never seen before on television.
