HBO’s adult comedy series Ten Year Old Tom screens on SBS VICELAND.

The series ran for two seasons, before being cancelled in January.

Can a kid grow up these days without being corrupted by the world around him? Ten Year Old Tom follows the misadventures of an average kid as he contends with questionable guidance from the well-meaning grownups around him. Bad influences seem to lurk around every corner; stressed out parents, shady bus drivers, and teachers who long for the glory days. Through it all, Tom is just trying to be a good kid. And it’s up to him to determine right from wrong.

Season One, Episode One: The Bassoon Incident; Ice Cream Money
After being considered a dead weight to the school band, Tom trades a bassoon for a baseball. Steroids should do the trick. Seeking to raise money for ice cream, Tom and Nelson hatch a plan to start a fundraising campaign.

Season One, Episode Two: The Spelling Bee is Rigged; Dakota’s Dad
To avoid participating in a spelling bee fraud, Tom attempts to learn Latin in one weekend and win the right way. Tom is invited on a fishing trip with three grown men and ends up making s’mores with an escort. He attempts to stick to the “bro code”.
