Eric Bana gets Untamed for Netflix

Eric Bana will star in a new character-driven mystery thriller, Untamed.

Variety reports Bana will star as Eric Inman, “a special agent for the National Parks Service who works to enforce human law in nature’s vast wilderness. The investigation of a brutal death sends Inman on a collision course with the dark secrets within the park, and in his own past.”

The six-episode limited series is penned by writers Mark L. Smith (The Midnight Sky, The Revenant, The Boys in the Boat) and his daughter, Elle Smith (The Marsh King’s Daughter).

Bana is also an executive producer on the series with John Wells Productions, Escape Artists Entertainment, Bee Holder Productions, Syndicate Entertainment. Warner Bros. Television, where John Wells Productions is under an overall deal, is the studio.

Eric Bana has previously featured in Dirty John, which screened on Netflix.
