Big Girl’s Blouse screened on Seven for just nine episodes from 1994 – 1995.
Created by Gina Riley, Jane Turner and Magda Szubanski, the series gave birth to Kath & Kim via an inspired sketch.
Here they unleash mockumentary style in another classic, ‘The Making of Play School.’

Thanks David! What a treat. Big Girl’s Blouse really was a landmark sketch series. I remember at the time this sketch was hot on the heels of a documentary about the torrid world behind the scenes on Roseanne, called Feeding The Monster. Love it.
These ladies having been making us laugh for so many years. Fast Forward, Big Girls Blouse, Somethin Stupid, Kath & Kim and Open Slather to name a few shows. Along with Ab Fab, they’re my usual go to for a good belly laugh.

I wish Big Girl’s Blouse was on streaming. I own the series on DVD but no longer have a dvd player lol. So many memorable moments on this show!
