MasterChef Australia: promo

New season features locations at Queen Victoria Market, Bendigo, Ballarat, and the rooftops of Hong Kong.

10 has released a full trailer for its upcoming season of MasterChef Australia, jointly hosted by Andy Allen, Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin, and Jean-Christophe Novelli.

You’ve never seen MasterChef Australia like this: never seen creations like this, never seen places like this, and never seen surprises like this.

In a feast for the eyes, the first glimpse reveals a litany of lush locations, from Melbourne’s Queen Victoria Market to regional gems Bendigo and Ballarat, all the way to the rooftops of Hong Kong.

When it comes to guest chefs, Jamie Oliver isn’t the only one heating up the kitchen. Expect fan favourites Adriano Zumbo and Anna Polyviou to set challenges fiercer than ever, while social sensations Vincent Yeow Lim (AKA DimSimLim) and Mikiko Terasaki cross the MasterChef Australia Kitchen threshold for the first time.

There’s never been a season like this.

Monday, 22 April at 7:30pm on 10.

  1. I’m in.
Always have loved my MasterChef. But I need Clare Smyth in there. She has done a few appearances so far, and she is always awesome. My favourite chef.

  2. So I assume Gordon Ramsay won’t be one of the guest chefs since he’s doing that show on 9. Looking forward to their excursions outside of the MasterChef kitchen.

  3. Great to see historical major regional centres and from the Gold Rush era of Ballarat and Bendigo featuring prominently, possibly in partnership with Tourism Victoria, great for non-Vic markets especially. I often feel outside metro Melb itsself and maybe Geelong, Great Ocean Rd and Phillip Island other non-capital city towns seem to get greater TV show exposure, be it Blue Mountains, Newcastle, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Townsville, Cairns, Hobart/TAS, heck even SA’s Barossa and WA’s Broome and Margaret River.
