Returning: MasterChef Australia

First look at the four new MasterChef judges in action.

10 has confirmed a premiere date for MasterChef Australia of Monday April 22 and released its first promo with four new judges.

This year, MasterChef Australia ushers in a new era, with international superstars, 22 incredible home-cooks, and friends old and new joining the family.

Andy Allen will carry on Jock Zonfrillo’s legacy alongside three new judges: MasterChef Australia alumnus Poh Ling Yeow, food critic and journalist Sofia Levin, and multi–Michelin Star award-winning chef, Jean-Christophe Novelli.

MasterChef Australia has built a family of passionate food-lovers and this year’s contestants will be leaving it all on the plate in the pursuit of exceptional food.

7:30pm Monday April 22 on 10.

  1. I am a die hard MasterChef fan and I’m struggling to get excited about this new dynamic!

The mix of Jock, Melissa and Andy has been so strong in the last few years! I wish they had gone with more well-known people in the television cooking space considering how hotly anticipated the lineup announcement was. It has fallen very flat since.

I don’t think I’ll be tuning in. What is new after 16 years?
