Applications have already opened for MasterChef Australia 2025.
“Do you have what it takes to step into the fabled kitchen and cook for the prestigious title of Australia’s MasterChef next season?” a casting notice asks.
“If you’re a passionate home cook who’s always dreamt of becoming Australia’s next MasterChef, it’s time you applied!”
Applicants must be aged 18 years or above by Monday 14th October 2024.
Filming dates are between October 2024 and April 2025 for approximately 30 weeks with a break over Christmas and New Year.
There are also some conditions around professional cooking qualifications and income cannot come from preparing and cooking fresh food in a professional environment (refer to site for more detail).
The closing date for applications is 11.59pm on Sunday 4th August 2024.
