Battle for entertainment eyeballs on Wednesday
Barely 10,000 split three networks in the prized 7:30 slot last night.

Home & Away again topped entertainment at 833,000 viewers in National TV Audience last night.
At 7:30pm there was a tussle between The 1% Club UK 685,000, Hard Quiz (679,000), I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here (673,000), and 7:30 (671,000). Trailing were Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars (411,000) and Alone Australia, high for SBS at 314,000.
Later The Weekly with Charlie Pickering won at 617,000 then The Front Bar (466,000), White Fever (282,000), Australian Crime Stories: The Investigators (281,000), FBI: International (252,000 / 132,000) and Jimmy Carr’s I Literally Just Told You (124,000).
Seven News won with 1.31m then The Chase (634,000). Talking Footy was 191,000 with Unbelievable Moments Caught on Camera at 120,000.
Nine News pulled 1.06m with A Current Affair at 945,000 and Tipping Point (662,000) both winning. Nine News Late scored 156,000 and Footy Classified drew 99,000.
ABC News averaged 815,000. QI (233,000) and Planet America (173,000) followed.
The Project managed 358,000 for 10 then 10 News First (307,000) and Deal or No Deal (301,000).
SBS World News (178,000 / 136,000) was followed by Mastermind (85,000) and Litvinenko (82,000) for SBS.

Last night’s UK1% Club was a vast improvement.
Lee Mack was much more the Would I Lie To You Lee Mack, and the show was very entertaining.
If this is a sign of things to come, then it looks promising.
