Eureka nabs rights for new singing contest, Zenith.

Format sees well-known singers from different generations competing against each other on a shiny floor.

Eureka Productions (Australian Idol, Farmer Wants a Wife, The Amazing Race: Australia) have secured local adaptation rights for French-Canadian musical competition format Zenith.

The format sees well-known singers from different generations competing against each other on a large, arena-style stage in a weekly singing competition. Over the course of 13 weeks, the 24 singers perform in front of an audience made up of 100 judges who are also grouped by generation: Boomers, Gen X, Gen Y and Gen Z.

The original version launched on Ici Radio-Canada in January 2023 and has also been secured by Spanish public broadcaster Catalan and UK production company Bandicoot.
