Tuesday night’s (still) a bitch…
Another reboot of Melrose Place is on the cards with three original stars set to reprise their roles.
“Special guest star” Heather Locklear, Laura Leighton and Daphne Zuniga are all attached to the latest reboot.
The synopsis reads as follows: “When one of their dearest friends dies suddenly, the OG residents of Melrose Place gather to honor the deceased. But the pressure cooker of a reunion soon uncovers old traumas, rekindles old romances, reignites old resentments, and reveals new secrets… throwing our characters into chaotic drama that’s reminiscent of the past, but with a much more modern perspective.”
The original Melrose ran for seven seasons from 1992 to 1999 with cast including Thomas Calabro, Josie Bissett, Andrew Shue, Courtney Thorne-Smith, Grant Show, Doug Savant, Vanessa A. Williams, Daphne Zuniga, Heather Locklear, Laura Leighton, Marcia Cross, Jack Wagner, Kristin Davis, Rob Estes, Lisa Rinna and Brooke Langton. Many of the cast reunited online three years ago during the pandemic.
A first reboot, also titled Melrose Place, ran from 2009 to 2010 with a new cast.

They can do crossovers with the ‘Neighbors’ retirement village plotline…
You know I’m gonna be all over this and hope it finds a home! Plus with Leighton and Zuniga on board as EP’s as well here’s hoping they keep show canon!
I just wish one of the streaming services would show the original series
It’s on 10play, and Paramount I believe.
Sydney (played by Laura Leighton) died in both the original series and the reboot. Are we going through this again?
Okay great….now just frigging give us Knots Landing, including the back catalogue
I’d be happy just to be able to watch the existing series again.
@squareyes – the original is screening on 10play as well as Paramount+
oh my. I did love a Melrose viewing party on a Tuesday night back in the day.
I hope Heather Locklear is doing better these days and can handle the pressure.
Will be interesting to see who else hops onboard.
They could also get some Beverley Hills 90210 characters onboard as well as the existed in the same universe.
So that’s Melrose Place, Heros and The X-Files this week.
