Returning: Silent Witness

Season 26 of Silent Witness has its Free to Air premiere on ABC later this month.

This ia 2023 season with five more cases for the team at the Lyell Centre to solve -each spanning two episodes.

Returning cast includes Emilia Fox, David Caves & Aki Omoshaybi.

Dr Nikki Alexander (Emilia Fox) and the team of forensic pathologists and scientists investigate intriguing new cases: a body falling from the top of a skyscraper, a people trafficking operation, a suspicious death at a festival, a train crash, and corrupt police officers. The cases that end up at the Lyell Centre are rarely straightforward. Initial suspicions are challenged as the evidence mounts and Nikki and the team must work harder than ever to uncover the truth.

Episode 1 – The Penitent Part One

When a man is thrown from a high-rise building, the team are propelled into the criminal underworld of a notorious mafia group, the Ndrangheta. Aided by the National Crime Agency, Nikki and her team set about uncovering the truth. As they descend deeper into the murky depths of the investigation, Nikki soon finds herself caught in the mafia’s web, with deadly consequences.
