The Sign breaks ABC iview records

Given these numbers, it's just as well Bluey didn't come to an abrupt ending.

Bluey episode “The Sign” has become the top ABC program of 2024 so far (ranked on Total Audience)*, and the highest ABC program of all time on ABC iview.*

To date the average iview audience is 2,642,920.

It delivered a massive metro TV share of 54% on broadcast* and drove record numbers of daily viewing minutes for ABC Kids channel on ABC iview, with 50.3 million minutes viewed on premiere day.

The three episodes currently hold an Average Total Audience of 4.8 million* including replays, when including ABC iview audience.

ABC also cites some of its huge social media results with ABC Kids Facebook, YouTube and Instagram accounts, “reaching” over 4 million Australians. On the ABC Kids Facebook, the 43 pieces of Bluey content amassed a combined total of 1.3 million video views and actively engaged 245,000. On the ABC Kids Instagram, the 29 pieces of Bluey content amassed a combined total of 1.98 million video views and actively engaged 76,000 individual accounts. On the ABC Kids YouTube, the five published #BiggestEverBluey YouTube pieces reached 75,000 views, and the Bluey – Best Bits! playlist gained 1.6 million views.

  1. What a wonderful achievement and indictment of the talent we have in Australia. Shame shame shame channels 7, 10 and 9 for the disgraceful decisions you made to gut investment in childrens television. It’s dumb and disgusting. Imagine if you hadn’t been so short sighted and risk averse and totally lacking in ambition- you might have stumbled across your own Bluey! Still failing to see the value… thank god or the taxpayer for the ABC!

  2. The sign was episode about the necessity of change that switches abruptly to being about chance. The we’ll see story also occurs in Northern Exposure S5 Bolt From the Blue. And in the end caves and hits the reset button to preserve Disney+’s streaming revenue.
