Australia’s Beyond Productions have co-developed a new dating series, Love Undercover, for NBC’s streamer Peacock.
The ‘modern day fairytale’ brings 5 international footballers to the USA to meet single women who are not familiar with their superstar status.
They include Premier League star Jamie O’Hara (36 – United Kingdom), Olympic Gold Medalist Marco Fabián (33 – Mexico), mega-star Ryan Babel (36 – Netherlands) and all-stars Lloyd Jones (27 – United Kingdom) and Sebastian Fassi (29 – Mexico).
But can they win over the ladies without their fame and fortune? Will they manage to keep their true identities a secret? And will any of them fall for an American princess before returning to the global stage? For these men, finding love is the #1 goal.
The series, an original idea from of Beyond’s Oz-LA creative team, is fully post produced in Australia and follows from Back in the Groove which was create / produced for Hulu (Disney+ in Australia), and also fully post produced in Sydney.
It premieres stateside on Peacock today.
